Camping Fees Camping fees at Southworth Memorial, Veterans Memorial, and Waldo Carlson: The daily rate for sites with electricity is $30 per day. The daily rate for tent only sites (no electricity) is $20 per day. The 30-day rate for Monthly sites is $600. |
Importation of Firewood Barron County and the City of Cumberland have banned the importation of out of county firewood to the four county campgrounds: Waldo Carlson, Veterans Memorial, Southworth Memorial and Kirby Lake and to the City of Cumberland campground: Eagle Point Campground and Park. Wood for campfires can be purchased from campground caretakers or local firewood outlets. (You must have a receipt!) |
Cancellations/Changes to Reservations Reservations can be cancelled through the Treasurer’s Office. Reservations cancelled 30 days prior to the planned occupancy date are eligible for a refund. Reservation fees and electronic payment fees are non-refundable. Reservation changes will only be allowed if the camping reservation in question is more than 14 days out. To request a change of date, site or campground call the Caretaker or the Treasurer’s office. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior are not eligible for a refund or change. The camper will have to take it as is, cancel or make any changes as a drive-in when they arrive. If a campsite remains unoccupied by 3:00 pm on the following day it can be opened for drive-ins. |

Facilities: Coin operated showers, pit toilets, boat landing, boat docks, playground, dumping station, fish cleaning house, picnic shelter.
Dump Station Fee: Camper: $5.00, Non-camper: $8.00
Fish Cleaning House: Camper: Free, Non-Camper: $5.00
Coin Operated Shower Rates: $1.00 for 5 minutes
