Boat Launch Fee
Waldo Carlson Park, Red Cedar Lake, has a $5.00 daily or a $20.00 seasonal boat launch fee. Boat launch permits can be purchased at the park from the park caretaker.  Seasonal permits can now be obtained online by choosing PERMITS on our Parks Reservations home page.  Please present proof of purchase to the park caretaker after May 1st to receive your seasonal boat launch sticker.

The Wisconsin Safer at Home Order is gone, the virus is not. COVID-19 continues to circulate and pose a threat to the health of our community. Barron County encourages everyone to avoid situations that may put them at risk of becoming ill and to follow the guidance to the greatest extent possible.  Please visit the following COVID-19 resources for more information when planning to visit Barron County.

We appreciate your interest in Barron County Parks Reservations! To place a reservation, please enter a Check-In and Check-Out date and the number of people in your party.

You will have 15 minutes to complete your reservation. Please have your Credit Card ready before continuing.

Reservation Instructions
  1. On-line reservations require the use of a credit card. The cardholder name and address must match the name and address used when setting up your Barron County Parks Reservations account. Both the camping fees and reservation fees are charged to the credit card immediately upon making a reservation.
  2. Advance Booking: Reservations may be made up to 12 months in advance. Reservations must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to the planned stay. No reservation is confirmed until full payment of reservation fees and site fees has been made. Inside of 7 days, all unreserved sites are treated as first-come, first-serve & pay as you go at the campground office.
  3. Reservation Fee: A non-refundable fee of $5.00 per reservation/per site is charged to your credit card immediately upon making a reservation.
  4. Maximum Stay: 14 nights, after which the camping unit and camping party must move to a different site or vacate the park. Some sites are available for monthly rental.
  5. Reservation Limitations: No limit on the number of reservations to be made by any one individual, except that the maximum length of stay on one site must be observed.
  6. Occupancy: Reserved sites shall be identified with notices hung on campsite posts at least 3 days prior to the planned occupancy. If the campsite remains unoccupied by 3:00 p.m. on the day following the start of the reservation, the campsite shall be made available for first-come first-serve camping. All non-reservation campsite bookings must show occupancy at the time of registration.
  7. Cancellation Policy: Reservations can be cancelled by calling 715-537-6280. Campsite reservations cancelled 30 days prior to the planned occupancy are eligible for a 50% refund to be issued in the form of a promotion/discount code that can be used on the Barron County Parks Reservations site to book another campsite reservation within the same camping season. Campsite reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to the planned occupancy are not eligible for a refund. Reservation fees are non-refundable.
